world of change

It's been forever so I will do the highlights for you all peeps.  Mommy has been way busy-She got MARRIED!  You know what that means-Bella and Bob are here to stay. I have made my peace with it-it was not easy as Bella is big and snores but she has here moments, when she is awake, that she can be fun and will play with me. As sisters go, she'll do.
But not soon after Mommy and Bob got married, everyone was out of the house and Bella and I were chilling.  Mommy was in her baking mode (that has not changed) and she had some brownies on a dish on the counter.  Smelled amazing.  I couldn't take it.  I jumped and jumped on my little legs of steel and wouldn't you know-I landed on the counter.  Heck ya.  I pushed the dish down onto the floor so my Big SIS and I could share the delicious snack.  I should have known.  The dish broke into a million pieces-almost summoning Bella to the kitchen from her sleeping spot on the ottoman.  Before I could even get down to the floor, there she was, licking and eating like it was her last meal.  I barked at her-Stop it, Bella, and share with me-I did all the work.  Selfish.  She could care less.  In her effort to get all the brownies in her big mouth she even ate some of the dish.
Well you can see where this is going.  Mommy and her friend Meredith returned from lunch to discover the mess-and Mommy called her hotline to the VET CLINIC.  We didn't go to the vet, good news for me since I did not even enjoy the fruits of my labor.  But then it started.  Bella may look tough but her belly is weak.  Do the math.  To make matters even more fun, Mommy and Bob had friends visiting in town and Bella had found a place to sleep and leave us alone-with Meredith. That ended real fast once Big B got sick.  Bella ended up back at the Vet-Bob says the vets are driving Mercedes thanks to us-and a small fortune later, was on all kinds of pills.  Good news, I got peanut butter when she did. Bad news, Bob told me he knows I am to blame and I need to get a job.  Where am I going to find a job?  I am not even allowed in the yard on my own.  Bella needs to get a handle on her appetite and then we can talk.
Last weekend, Mommy and Bob got brave and packed up Bella and me along with everything else they could find and we headed to the mountains to camp.  Mommy buckled me into a seatbelt and that is when things went south.  Are you kidding me?  I sit on Mommy's lap in the car-my throne.  Well Bob is all about safety (whatever) and I needed to be in the back seat.  I showed them.  I whined for about 2 hours and got my paws all tangled up. Mom ended up having to get in the backseat with me and untangle me.  She laughed so hard (not funny Mommy) and Bob just got mad.  No one was happier to see the campsite than I was.  Get me the hell out of this car.
Camping was fun, Bella tried to join everyone else in their tents-always trying to find a new family-would be great if she actually succeed.  I spent most of the time on my Xanax, on my leash in the ground, and spent as much time with my friend Keira as I could.  Thank goodness she was there, someone to hang with.  Sleeping in a tent basically means I don't sleep. Someone has to keep Mommy and Bob safe and Lord knows Bella can't stay awake for 5 minutes.  When we came home, Bella and I both slept for days because they all made us go hiking-not too bad for me but Bella is not used to activity.
Check you later.
